Tri-Lateral Journalist Exchange Deadline: November 30, annually
Eligibility: Journalists with at least three years of professional experience as a print journalist (newspaper or periodical).
Value: Stipend for three-month period of exchange to cover living costs in host country, round-trip international travel, insurance coverage, visa sponsorship.

Description: The Tri-lateral Journalist Exchange is dedicated to promoting international understanding and good relations through an exchange of journalists. Journalists work directly with host publications in Canada, Mexico and the U.S., reporting on key issues for their home publications and obtaining first-hand experience in each other's country. The exchange runs from April through June.
Further Details: To date, the exchange has been funded by The Freedom Forum of Arlington, VA, a non-governmental, non-partisan international foundation dedicated to free press, free speech and free spirit for all people.
