SAIS - Novartis Awards for Excellence in International Journalism

Eligibility: The competition is open to all journalists who work professionally in print, broadcast, or online media.

Value: A $15,000 cash prize is awarded to the top prize winner. Awards are given to the top ten finalists.

Description: The SAIS - Novartis International Awards Program recognizes outstanding achievement in the coverage of international affairs. The top ten finalists will each receive awards for work that has brought a topic of international importance to public attention in the last calendar year. The Awards ceremonies take place in Washington DC; travel expenses will be covered for the winners.
