Metro Vancouver Image Consultant Nominated for President-Elect on International Board of Directors

“It doesn’t happen every day.” That’s how Kimberly Law, Burnaby business owner of Personal Impact Image Management International, responded to the news that she had recently been nominated by a panel of her peers – members of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) – for the position of President-Elect for the 2010-2011 year. Thrilled with the news, Kimberly acknowledges that the nomination is both an honour and a challenge. The President-Elect’s primary function is preparation for the position of President for the Association, to preserve leadership continuity. The President-Elect also presides in the absence of the President.

Kimberly has been an active member of AICI since 2000. In 2001, she became Area Liaison for Western Canada. Her personal goal was to establish an awareness of the image consulting industry and set standards for industry that represents the diverse and growing needs of Western Canadians. She served as VP Membership/Chapter Relations for the 2004-2006 term. She served as AICI Ambassador for BC from 2006–2010.

As founder of Personal Impact since 1999, Kimberly has more than twenty five years of experience in personal image management and professional marketing. She enjoys working with individuals, businesses, education and not-for-profit sectors in areas related to personal appearance and professional presence. In 2003 Kimberly achieved recognition as a Certified Image Professional (CIP) from AICI. She was the first in Western Canada to receive international recognition for the designation and commitment to the profession.
