What is that?

Sources Cover 45We've had an unprecedented numbers of enquiries about the cover of Sources #45. We can't ever recall receiving so many phone calls and E-mails about a cover.

So, for all who were wondering just what that thing was on the cover but who didn't call or E-mail, here's the answer:

The cover photo depicts the underside of a leaf, belonging to a large aquatic plant. The plant may be a water lily – and then again perhaps it isn’t. The photographer, Angelika Scheffler, who took the photo in the botanical gardens in Copenhagen because she found the leaf's pattern intriguing, confesses that she's not an expert botanist. Ms Scheffler, a teacher who lives in Freiburg, Germany, is an amateur photographer whose photos have appeared on the covers of several other Sources publications.
