Vancouver Stock Exchange
The Vancouver Stock Exchange is a venture capital marketplace "where business starts." Focused on the needs of young companies, the VSE provides the capital to help companies grow. The majority of its listed companies are resource-related, though a growing number are high technology and industrial companies. The VSE was the first stock exchange in North America to move to an automated trading system.
A self-regulatory organization, the VSE is owned by over 50 member firms.
