The Vitamin Information Service The Vitamin Information Service is a national resource available to the media that provides information on vitamins, vitamin use, vitamin supplements and their nutritional and health benefits. The Service also provides access to medical and nutritional experts and a wealth of story ideas and research material. The Service is a part of the Vitamin Information Program, sponsored by Roche Vitamins Canada Inc. Established in 1986, the Program has undertaken many initiatives and activities. These include hosting presentations by international vitamin experts; medical updates, nutrition briefs, specialized publications; consumer materials and media briefings on specific nutrition issues for journalists/writers.
