Canadian Western Bank Established in 1984, Canadian Western Bank is the only Schedule 1 bank based in Western Canada. The Bank has a flat organization structure and decentralized decision making. Its assets doubled in size to more than $1.3 billion in 1994 with the acquisition of North West Trust Company.
