Toronto Economic Development works with existing companies, small businesses, business associations, investors, institutions, key sectors and entrepreneurs to: identify and promote business opportunities; assist in solving problems and removing roadblocks, and advocate for and communicate the needs of business. The Office also gathers and analyzes economic and demographic data, monitors the real estate market to assist with location and relocation, works to revitalize retail and industrial areas, and promotes the advantages and competitiveness of the City.
