Canadian Fertilizer Institute / Institut canadien des engrais CFI is a national association with approximately 50 member companies representing fertilizer manufacturers (nitrogen, potash, phosphate, sulphur) and Canadian wholesale and retail distributors. The industry contributes over $3 billion to Canada's exports, playing a major role in global food supply. The Potash & Phosphate Institute of Canada provides technical support to CFI's educational initiatives through their domestic and international research and educational programs.
