Canadian Genetic Diseases Network
The Canadian Genetic Diseases Network has a mandate from the government of Canada to carry out advanced basic research related to genetic diseases and in particular, to develop new methods of diagnosing and treating these inherited diseases.
Network investigators located across Canada are involved in clinical or research activities dealing with patients and families afflicted with a range of inherited diseases or deficiencies.
The Network works closely with companies in the healthcare field.
