Association for the Export of Canadian Books / Association pour l'exportation du livre canadien
As the only national trade association that connects English- and French-language publishers across Canada, the AECB has a mandate to foster Canadian publishers' export sales. The AECB coordinates Canadian publishers' presence at international book fairs, promotes Canadian titles abroad through its catalogues, exhibits and Web site, provides market intelligence, and acts as a liaison between Canadian publishers and foreign buyers. The AECB also assists the industry by providing funding assistance for Canadian publishers' international marketing strategies and activities.
