The CEP is a national union representing 150,000 members working mainly in four industries: Communications -- telephone, electrical, and electronics manufacturing employees; Energy -- workers in oil refineries, chemical plants, natural gas production and pharmaceuticals; Paper -- working in pulp and paper mills, box plants and other forest product-related industries; and Media -- media and typographical workers.
