Canada Proudly Announce the 2007 Mother's Day Walk April 4, 2007-- For Immediate Release "Take a Short Walk to End Breast Cancer in the Long Run" Mother's Day Weekend: May 12th and 13th 2007 Breast Cancer Society of Canada and cleo, will team up again this year for a nationwide Mother's Day Walk throughout malls across Canada. For the 5th consecutive year cleo will partner with the Breast Cancer Society of Canada (BCSC) for the annual event. Last year a total of $81,000 dollars was raised for Canadian breast cancer research. Since the walk began in 1991 in Point Edward, Ontario, many thousands of dollars have been raised and the Walk remains an integral role in BCSC fundraising. "The 2007 Mother's Day Walk will be our biggest Walk yet," says Rany Xanthopoulo, Executive Director, BCSC. "We are thankful for our partnership with cleo and their ongoing support and we look forward to this year's walk to raise funds to end this dreadful disease." cleo is committed to its customers and the communities in which they live.
