Bands, Snowmen and Clowns…oh My!
Night Parades to Illuminate the Winter Festival of Lights

Niagara Falls, ON - The Winter Festival of Lights is pleased to announce the return of its illuminated Night Parades. Enjoy wonderful and whimsical illuminated parade floats along with dancing candy canes, snowmen and clowns, marching bands, live music, dance troops and so much more, all as part of the Winter Festival of Lights Night Parades. Each Night Parade will have its own special theme while all are sure to bring a smile to your face. Illuminated night parades are unique in Ontario and the Winter Festival of Lights is proud to include this element for your enjoyment.

With the support from Night Parade sponsors such as the Victoria-Centre BIA, Maid of the Mist, Lundy's Lane BIA, Embassy Suites, Niagara Falls Bridge Commission, Marriott Hotel, Niagara Parks Commission and the Hilton Hotel Niagara Falls and the Phone Directories Company we invite you to enjoy them all!

About the Winter Festival of Lights
The 23rd annual Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls, Ontario is a two-month festival operating from November 4, 2005 to January 2, 2006, which includes spectacular animated lighting displays, illuminated night parades, fireworks, children's shows, and many other events and activities. It is the largest winter lights festival in Canada and attracts over 1.1 million people annually. The Winter Festival of Lights was recently selected as a Top 100 Event by the American Bus Association.

Friday, November 4, 2005 * 8:00 PM
Opening Weekend - Grand Parade
Featuring the P.K. Hummingbird 20-piece steel drum band
Niagara Parkway Route
Parade begins near the Rainbow Bridge and travels south along the Niagara Parkway ending near the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

Saturday, November 12, 2005 * 8:00 PM
We Remember - A Tribute to Our Veterans
Join us as we honour our veterans with the Dundas Pipe & Drum Band, marching cadets
Victoria Ave. / Fallsview Blvd. Route
Parade begins at Victoria Ave. and Hunter St., travels along Victoria Ave./Ferry St., turning left on Fallsview Blvd., traveling down Fallsview Blvd, and turning right on Livingston St.
