Receives For Immediate Release Ottawa, Ontario, September 26, 2003 Canadian telework expert, Bob Fortier, has received an international award from the Washington DC-based Telework Coalition (TelCoa) at its annual awards ceremony. The award recognizes his outstanding contribution in the field of telework & telecommuting. In presenting the award, TelCoa Executive Director Chuck Wilsker had these words of praise: "On the international front, Bob has clearly and effectively demonstrated and promoted the strategic use of telework to benefit employees, employers, society, and the environment." In concert with the virtual nature of telework, the presentation was made virtually from Washington DC to Bob Fortier's home in Ottawa.
