Canadian Broadcasting Corporation / Société Radio-Canada
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is a publicly owned corporation established in 1936 by an Act of the Canadian Parliament to provide the national broadcasting service in Canada in the two official languages. Under this legislation, the CBC is responsible to Parliament, to which it reports each year on its operations through the Minister of Canadian Heritage.
