The Canadian Hearing Society Founded in 1940, the Canadian Hearing Society is the largest not-for-profit agency in Canada serving deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing people and their families. Through 28 offices, CHS provides over 16 programs including: counselling; audiology, hearing aid and technical devices programs; sign language and interpreting services; outreach; advocacy; information and expertise about hearing loss and its prevention.
