Federation of Women Teachers' Associations of Ontario FWTAO, founded in 1918, is the province's largest teachers' organization, representing 41,000 women teachers in the public elementary schools. Through professional development, collective bargaining and political action, FWTAO seeks to improve the situation of women teachers and all Ontario women.
