News Release

How the proposed music tariff
will affect you

July 31, 2008 -- For Immediate Release

TORONTO- Can-Fit-Pro announces Canadian Forum: Stop the Proposed Music Tariff, a special session to be held at the Can-Fit-Pro International Fitness and Club Business Conference and Trade Show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, on August 13-17. This session will take place on August 15 at 4:00 p.m., with a general meeting to follow at 6:00 p.m.

The Fitness Industry in Canada is facing a crisis as a proposed new music copyright tariff is threatening all Canadian fitness clubs and facilities.

This proposed tariff will force many fitness clubs and facilities in Canada out of business which means anyone's local gym could close down, and if it doesn't close down, fitness consumers can expect an increase in gym membership fees.

Attend the Can-Fit-Pro International Fitness and Club Business Conference session Canadian Forum: Stop the Proposed Music Tariff, Friday, August 15 at 4:00 p.m.
