Manitoba Ministry of Healthy Living, Seniors, and Consumer Affairs

Mandate:  Manitoba Healthy Living, Seniors and Consumer Affairs focuses on keeping Manitobans of all ages healthy and safe. A commitment now to a healthy, active lifestyle helps prevent future illness and disease and results in a more meaningful involvement with society at all stages of life. Our department works to provide healthy living opportunities for Manitoba#s older population through the Seniors and Healthy Aging Secretariat. The secretariat works with other seniors# organizations in Manitoba to supply quality programs, valuable guides and publications, and timely information on issues that affect Manitoba seniors. In addition to promoting healthy living, this department is responsible for protecting Manitobans# rights as consumers.

Jim Rondeau, Minister
