30 Extra Technicians and Assembly Line Workers at Solgate Inc.

The Ontario PV manufacturer had to hire 30 technicians and add a second shift in due to dramatic increase in sales.

VAUGHAN, Ontario, February 22nd, 2011 — due to a dramatic increase of demand from both distributors and investors, Solgate Inc. hired 30 technicians and machine operators to join their team and add a second 8 hour shift to try and meet the increasing demand for solar panels.

“Over the past few months the demand for solar panels in Ontario has become enormous and it continues to grow every day”, said Vadim Lyubchenko, President of Solgate Inc. “With the help of our HR department and a few employment agencies in the GTA we were able to find the right people to join our growing team. The new machine operators did not have any experience working with this kind of machinery, and assembly line workers had to learn and understand all specifics of this advanced technology” he added.

Solgate Inc. has been working in the Canadian market for over 6 years and manufacturing capacity was extended in December 2010 to a 18MW PV power production.
