CMA Canada reveals the new CMA magazineApril 11, 2011TORONTO, ON -- (April 11, 2011) Certified Management Accountants of Canada (CMA Canada) has re-launched its magazine to include contemporary, competitive and thought-provoking editorial content, a fresh and bold new look, and a new name.CMA magazine delivers articles and features across a spectrum of topics, including innovation, sustainability, ethics and career management. The refreshed magazine will align the great work from CMA Canadas Research Foundation with new topical and practical articles, ensuring the magazine remains an important resource for Certified Management Accountants and other professional accountants in management, says Joy Thomas, President and CEO, CMA Canada. New departments, including Research, Human Capital, Legal and Strategy, round out the magazine. In addition, the intriguing Conversation column provides advice through question and answer interviews with thought leaders. Another exciting change for our publication is the appointment of Mara Gulens as the new Director, Publications/Editor-in-Chief of CMA magazine, says Suzanne Godbehere, Vice President Marketing & Communications, CMA Canada. Maras experience as a former editor, writer, television spokesperson and communications specialist will help CMA Canada continue to remain current, relevant and above all dependable in its coverage of management accounting issues and leading-edge research for CMAs. CMA magazine is now published six times annually, instead of nine as previously, and is available by subscription in both English and French editions. The magazine reaches a target audience of more than 55,000 readers within the management accounting and greater business community, including over 40,000 CMA members and 10,000 candidates and students across Canada.
