Awards 2011 - National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada

The National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada is pleased to announce their 2011 award recipients. This includes 10 individuals for ‘distinguished services’ they offered to Canadian communities, five Journalists for ‘professional Excellence’, fourteen newspapers for excellence in editorial and or visual presentation, two magazines and one TV station for best and informative concept.

The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario will host the Awards ceremony present the awards to these recipients. The Award winners will be recognized on Friday, October 28, at 6 pm, in the Lieutenant Governor’s Suite, at the main legislative building at Queen’s Park.

This will be the seventh year that the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario will have hosted the ceremony for the presentation of the Awards.

Entrance is only by invitation.
