BPW Canada Presents Commendation on Human Trafficking

LONDON, Ontario. October 25, 2011 - Member of Parliament Joy Smith receives Commendation from the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women for her tireless work to combat Human Trafficking.

On the same day Member of Parliament Joy Smith presented her private members bill (C-310) for second reading she was presented a commendation for her continuing advocacy on behalf of women and girls, who have or may in the future, be subjected to human trafficking.

This commendation was submitted by the BPW London Club and approved by the BPW Canada membership at their AGM held in Ottawa, Ontario on July 23, 2011.
